Frequently Asked Questions
What does a cake cost?
Pricing of a cake depends entirely on size, design and flavor. Pricing is calculated by the cost of the ingredients and the time that I spend to bake and decorate. The more complex the cake, the higher the pricing. Once we have established all the details of your cake, I will send you a price quote. How does payment work? Venmo is my preferred method of payment, but I will accept cash or check under certain circumstances. I have a retainer policy. I require at least 50% of the payment upfront which will be non-refundable because I will turn down other orders I receive for the same event date. The second half of the payment needs to be made by at least one month in advance so that I can order all necessary supplies/ingredients for your cake. If you're event is less than one month away, I will need to receive full payment right at the time of ordering. Your order is not considered fully booked until I receive payment, so if another client is looking to book on the same day, I will book whoever completes their payment first. Do you deliver? I am located in American Fork and there is no charge to pick up your order. If you would like your cake delivered, the charge is $35/hr. This price is prorated according to your location with a $15 minimum fee. |
